Sabin was commissioned in 2012 to create a new landmark sculpture in the northern area of the forest, to be accessible to both cyclists and walkers, as part of the Art Roots Grizedale programme. This test piece uses tree roots to create a window, one of several that would make up the facade of a house. More information can be found here –
